The Millennium Dome

The Millennium Dome is an a large dome-shaped building, which was originally used to house the Millennium Experience, a major exhibition celebrating the beginning of the third millennium. And now this huge tent the size of Titanic is still one of the buildings are very good and impressive views of the design and dimensions. The building is located on the Greenwich Peninsula in East London, England, designed by the Richard Rogers Partnership and Buro Happold engineers, with a diameter of 365 meters and the peak reaches 100 meters.

Dome located at the top of the building is the largest of its kind in the world, and simultaneously represents the role played by Greenwich Mean Time, with twelve 100 m high yellow support towers, one for each month of the year, or every hour clock face.
