Yangtze river

Yangtze River or the Yangtze River is the longest river in China and in Asia. And if the world, the Yangtze River is the third longest river. This river became the southern boundary of ancient Chinese culture which is located between the Yellow River in the north and the Yangtze River in the south.

This river is known as the Yangtze River (Hanyu Pinyin: Yangzi) due to a misunderstanding of the missionaries at first. Yangtze River refers only to the lower reaches of Yangtze River, but because this is the first heard by the West, it is used to represent the entire Yangtze River Yangtze River.

Mineral studies conducted by a team from Durham University reveals that the Yangtze River Three Gorges region began to cut about 45 million years ago, so much older than as previously believed.

But the Chinese government reported that the Yangtze Basin is in danger because it has lost a rare aquatic and animal life. Large-scale deforestation has destroyed the forest at the riverside. Established largely for agriculture, villages, factories and mines.
