Universal Islands of Adventure

Universal Islands of Adventure is the park located in Orlando, Florida. Opened May 28, 1999 as part of the expansion, together with the Citywalk Entertainment District, the Portofino Bay Hotel and Hard Rock Hotel, Universal Studios Florida, converted to Universal Orlando Resort. Overall theme parks is that of a journey of exploration, where guests depart from the ports to visit the six islands, each has its own distinct theme, but all emphasize adventure. On 18 June 2010, the islands of the seventh, Harry Potter Magic World (the theme to the popular Harry Potter franchise) was officially opened in the park, the largest investment since its opening. In 2010, Islands of Adventure hosts about 5.9 million guests, ranking it # 7 in the United States parks and # 12 worldwide.


Such as Universal Studios Florida front gate, Islands of Adventure has not limited itself to the Universal library itself. In fact, with the exception of Lost Continent and Jurassic Park, the park who live in accordance with licensed characters from rival studios, many of whom do not own their own theme park. Some of Seuss Landing (Dr Seuss efforts), the World Magic Harry Potter (Warner Bros), Toon Lagoon (Jay Ward Productions and Paramount Pictures) and Marvel Super Hero Island (Marvel Entertainment, a subsidiary of the Walt Disney company).
